RUMOURS: CHELSEA TO MAKE £60M LUKAKU BID

The Belgium international is said to be interested in a move back to Stamford Bridge and the Blues are preparing a giant offer to secure his services from Everton

Chelsea are ready to make a £60 million offer to lure Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge from Everton, according to The Daily Mail.

The 23-year-old, who netted 18 goals in 37 Premier League games for the Toffees last season, is said to be interested in a return to the Blues.

Antonio Conte is concerned Chelsea's striking options will be depleted as Atletico Madrid persist with their interest in Diego Costa, and has turned his attention to the Belgium international.

With Gonzalo Higuain joining Juventus from Napoli and having a bid for Alvaro Morata rejected, Chelsea are willing to pay £60m for the player they signed from Anderlecht in 2011 - double the fee they received for him two years ago.
