Chelsea are keen on signing Sporting midfielder William Carvalho, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 24-year-old impressed as Portugal won Euro 2016, and with a move for Radja Nainggolan looking unlikely, the Blues are set to step up their interest in Carvalho.
They are set to face competition from Everton, however, with the Toffees again set to go to battle with Antonio Conte's side.
Both teams have already shown an interest in both Axel Witsel and Kalidou Koulibaly this summer.
